Lakeshore Ledger Media

Accessibility

What we do so that this website works for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.

Last updated
October 30, 2026

We want fyloxen.com to work for every visitor, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or a magnifier. This statement explains what Lakeshore Ledger Media has done, which gaps remain and how to report a barrier.

Our commitment

We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate task. Whenever a page is added or the design changes, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, used with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under fyloxen.com.

Feedback

Please report any accessibility problem by email to [email protected] or by telephone on (613) 966-2789. A short note on the page, the difficulty and the device or assistive technology involved helps us reproduce the fault; we usually reply within five working days and explain what we will do about it.

Other ways to reach us

If a page on fyloxen.com does not work for you, the same information can be obtained without using the website. We can be reached by telephone on (613) 966-2789, by email at [email protected] and by post at 214 Front Street, Unit 3, Belleville, ON K8N 3B7. On request we will forward the content of a page in another form, for example as a plain text document.

What we do

Pages are built with semantic HTML: headings follow a single order, lists are marked as lists and links say where they lead. Navigation and content form separate regions, the language of each page is declared, and informative images have alternative texts while decorative ones are marked as such.

Text, links and buttons are shown with a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Sizes are set in relative units, so text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off, and links, menus and form fields can be used with the keyboard alone.

Limitations we know of

Some pictures are general illustrations and carry a short alternative text rather than a detailed description.

Conformance

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. At present this site is only partially conformant: most content satisfies the guidelines, while the points listed below do not. Where a requirement cannot be met immediately, we look for another way of supplying the information.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on October 30, 2026 on the basis of our own review. We checked the main page types with a keyboard, with increased zoom and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any major change to the website.
